I once read that bluebirds appear to remind us to enjoy life. That resonated with me: whenever I see a bluebird, I stop to watch it flitter about, smiling while it keeps me company.

I have human bluebirds in my life, too. People who remind me it's good to slow down: my wonderful daughters and husband; friends and family; and Chelsi, my former business partner—who became a good friend and whose positive outlook on life continues to be an inspiration to me.

I started Better Than Chocolate Day Spa with Chelsi in 2006. It was a lot of fun as well as a great challenge; and I learned a tremendous amount during our 3 years of business.

When it unexpectedly had to close, we had some important decisions to make...

Better Still is a new beginning for me. I'm so excited about offering services from my new salon in my home town of Ladner (Delta), BC. We welcome new clients and all bookings are by appointment. Please come join me, and be still for a while. It's better that way.
